How do I mount Burton Mission bindings with universal backing plate on a Burton Clash?
I just got a Burton Clash and Burton Mission bindings and am not sure how to set up the mounting plate. I see the word Burton with an arrow but the wholes do not line up. Am I doing something wrong? Also it seems like my heels will hang off the back a little bit, is that normal? I have a 158 board and size medium bindings.
The clash board has a 3D hole pattern, you notice? they will have arrows pointing to the main three holes where you mount your bindings for a stock set up..
.-the idea is to put your binding where you want your boot
.-line the holes on the board with the binding disc…
.-adjust the angles of the binding to where you want them, I personally duck both feet to 15/-15
.-screw the bindings in tight, then make sure the stance is comfortable to you and the bindings are on good.
Your heel/toe will sometimes be off the board around a half an inch or so depending on your stance, the main focus is the make sure your foot is CENTERED in the binding on the board or you will have more weight on the respective side..
